ShipAsaan
A complete courier management platform built for modern logistics operations
ShipAsaan is a complete courier and logistics management platform built by Bitlogs from the ground up. The system helps courier companies manage shipments, merchants, riders, billing, tracking, delivery operations, customer support, and e-commerce integrations from one connected platform. It includes merchant and internal web portals, two mobile apps, WooCommerce and Shopify integrations, and a public REST API for third-party merchants.

A walkthrough of the actual interfaces — merchant portal, operations console, and the two mobile apps shipped end-to-end.

Merchant Portal — Shipments
What was broken, risky, or missing.
Courier operations were spread across manual processes, spreadsheets, phone calls, and disconnected tools.
Shipment tracking was difficult because there was no clear system to follow a parcel from booking to delivery or return.
Billing and rate calculation involved too much manual work, increasing the risk of errors and delays.
Courier and sales team incentives were calculated manually, making payouts slow and sometimes disputed.
Different teams needed different access levels, but there was no structured permission system.
Dispatchers, hub staff, merchants, and riders needed better real-time visibility into shipment status.
Merchant onboarding and support workflows needed to be more organized, trackable, and scalable.
The decisions — and the trade-off.
We approached ShipAsaan as a real operations product, not just a dashboard. The goal was to build a platform that could handle daily courier workflows end-to-end while staying flexible enough to support new services, merchants, branches, and integrations as the business grows.
Mapped the full shipment journey from booking to delivery, return, or cancellation.
Created separate portals for merchants and internal operations so each team only sees what they need.
Built mobile apps for customers and couriers to support real-time updates, tracking, and delivery workflows.
Automated billing logic for different shipment types, zones, weight slabs, COD handling, and company-specific rates.
Added role-based access so admins, hub staff, riders, merchants, and support teams can work safely within defined permissions.
Integrated real-time notifications and live status updates to reduce coordination delays.
Built e-commerce plugins and a public API so merchants can connect their stores directly with ShipAsaan.
Designed the system with audit history, logs, and structured workflows so operations remain traceable as volume grows.
The Trade-off
Instead of overcomplicating the product early, we chose a strong modular architecture that allowed us to move fast, launch multiple product surfaces, and still keep the system maintainable for future growth.
Concrete, shipped, documented.
